First flowering: Who cares?
(This plant stayed behind when I moved in 2021; therefore, the following text will receive no further updates.)
Yes, a second giant sequoia. This one is a smaller-growing selection, now planted on the sunny side of our property next to a taller Arizona cypress. I gave it a RootBuilder pot in spring 2020 shortly after it arrived, planning to plant it in the ground in the fall along with the cypress (I actually didn't get to it until the next spring). It arrived from the nursery flopping over heavily without staking; I only staked it minorly in its pot, removing the ties after a few months, and it does seem to be more upright than originally.
