Notes:
Not recommended north of the warmer parts of Sunset zone 32, USDA zone 7, and AHS heat zone 7, but one of the best flowering cherries for such warmer Southeastern climates.
Blooms described as "almost neon". Low chilling requirement (~150 hours). Protect from late frosts.
Along with P. incisa, is one of the parents of 'Okame' cherry.
