Notes:

Hardy only to Sunset zone 32 and USDA zone 7.

Almost always seen in commerce in fastigiate/columnar form (reflected in the tags), despite the wild species being more spreading.

Only Cal Poly claims clay tolerance, I suspect because California's dry summers are less conducive to diseases such as root rot that are problematic in the Southeast.

Fragrance of wood repels moths.
