Notes:

Early to leaf out. Dirr is the only of my sources to have mentioned fragrant flowers, and even then it was only on the list rather than in the descriptive text, so it might not even be pleasant; I have therefore refrained from so tagging.

Reported not to do well in Oregon, probably due to insufficient summer humidity.
