Magnolia 'Galaxy'
Galaxy magnolia

Notes:

Sister seedling of M. 'Spectrum' from a cross between M. liliiflora and M. sprengeri 'Diva'.

Pyramidal in youth, more rounded with age, and not as wide as 'Spectrum'. Prone to watersprouts, so be careful about pruning. Blooms late enough that frost is unlikely to damage the flowers, which are more numerous but smaller than those of 'Spectrum'.
