Malus ioensis 'Klehm's'
Klehm's improved Bechtel crabapple

Notes:

Tolerate wet soils better, and generally live longer, than the Prunus spp. (flowering cherries/almonds/plums/peaches/apricots). Deep soil preferred.

More disease-resistant than the species and 'Plena', but still susceptible to rust in moist climates.

Rarely fruits, but when it does, they're large.

'Prince George' is another M. ioensis cultivar that rarely fruits (recommended by Sunset as a patio tree) and is disease resistant, but it's not claimed to be fragrant.
