Magnolia 'Elizabeth'
Elizabeth magnolia

Notes:

A cross between M. acuminata var. subcordata and M. denudata (Sunset and Dirr agree on this, so I have no idea where Cal Poly got M. virginiana from). Blooms at 2-6 years from grafts.

"Extremely vigorous" per Dirr. Upright in youth, oval with age. Flowering is fine in part shade, but habit is more open. Rarely fruits.

Sources: Sunset, Missouri BG, Dirr, UFL, Cal Poly.
