Daphne × transatlantica
Caucasian daphne

Notes:

Dirr asserts that this hybrid is actually synonymous with D. caucasica somehow, but Missouri BG says that it's a hybrid between D. caucasica and D. collina, so IDEK. For convenience, I will assume here that they are indeed the same plant, in which case it is not recommended for Sunset zone 37 (stops at 34 and 39).

Reblooms sporadically throughout summer. Some cultivars are semievergreen. Slow to establish.

All parts poisonous.

Druse calls 'Blafra' (Eternal Fragrance) intensely fragrant; my only exposure to this hybrid is 'Jim's Pride', which disappointed me by requiring close contact to detect the fragrance, at least outdoors.
