Notes:

AKA H. petiolaris. (NCSU goes one step further and doesn't even consider the subspecies valid anymore, rolling it up into H. anomala proper. I should mention that nobody else really bothers talking about the straight species.)

Clinging vine with aerial rootlets. Blooms are effective for 4-6 weeks. Fall color inconsistent. Fragrance may be slight.

Slow to establish. If in full sun, needs consistent moisture.

Suitable as a large-scale groundcover.
