Viburnum × carlcephalum
fragrant snowball viburnum

Notes:

Hybrid of V. carlesii and V. macrocephalum f. keteleeri.

More coarsely branched and open than V. carlesii, with larger flowers that smell spicy. Sunset notes that the flowers are long-lasting.

As with most viburnums, plant multiple specimens (not genetically identical) for best fruit set.

'Cayuga' is a backcross to V. carlesii with a denser habit (but still coarse branching).
