Hypericum kalmianum
Kalm's St. John's wort
Notes:
More open than other Hypericum spp. (though denser and finer than H. frondosum), but the most cold-hardy of the bunch. There seems to be no consensus as to whether this shrub is actually deciduous or evergreen, so I had no choice but to give it all three of the relevant tags.
'Cfflpc-1' (Blue Velvet) has won the PHS Gold Medal Award.
