Ledum groenlandicum
Labrador tea, bog Labrador tea

Notes:

Apparently should properly be known as Rhododendron groenlandicum, but none of my sources have caught up.

Leaves aromatic when crushed. USDA claims allelopathy.

Intolerant of hot summers (no good south of Sunset zone 34).

Sources: Sunset, Stoecklein, AHS, Wikipedia, USDA.
