Spiraea prunifolia
bridal wreath spiraea

Notes:

As with all bridal wreath spiraeas, all blooming stems (or at least the oldest/tallest third of stems) should be cut back to the ground after bloom.

Can get leggy over time. Fall color inconsistent but still the best of all spiraeas. Tolerates a wide range of soil conditions, but Odenwald/Turner do not say what specifically that includes.

UConn calls this spiraea far inferior to S. nipponica but then does not explain why.
