AKA R. minus var. minus. Differentiated from R. minus in flowering two months earlier, aromatic leaves, and much less susceptible to leaf spot.
Humid climate preferred. Leaves poisonous if ingested and aromatic when bruised.
Native to stream banks and outcroppings.
