Hybrid of P. pumila and P. cerasifera 'Atropurpurea'.

Overused and notorious for short lifespan (less than 10 years!) due to pests/diseases. Poor compartmentalizer of decay.

'Schmidtcis' (Big Cis) is dense and taller.
