Deutzia gracilis
slender deutzia

Notes:

Suggested to use among evergreens (single-season shrub).

Missouri BG and NCSU assert fragrance even though Sunset, Stoecklein, and UConn do not mention it, so take that with a grain of salt.

Optimal exposure may be a tradeoff between foliage aesthetics and flowering (similar to Chionanthus).

Takes rejuvenation pruning if needed.
