Iberis sempervirens
candytuft

Notes:

Suited for small scale groundcover use. Trailing stems may root. Notably floriferous, at least in full sun, and flowers are also long-lasting. Can get leggy.

Salt tolerance debated (NCSU vs. USDA; Stoecklein, Sunset, and Dirr don't have it on their lists).

'Christmas Snow'/'Snowflake' also flowers in fall. 'Little Gem' and 'Purity' are even smaller than the species but notably floriferous.
