Juniperus conferta
shore juniper

Notes:

AKA J. rigida subsp. conferta.

Not recommended for Sunset zone 37 (stops at 34 and 39).

True creeper (branches root as they go), like J. horizontalis.

Resistant to Phomopsis tip blight, cedar-apple rust, and cedar-hawthorn rust.

'Emerald Sea' is a faster, looser grower than the species and the more common 'Blue Pacific'. 'Silver Mist' has won the PHS Gold Medal Award.
