Daphne × burkwoodii
Burkwood daphne

Notes:

'Carol Mackie' has variegated leaf margins and "grows vigorously".

All parts poisonous, especially fruits. Cool soil required. May be slow to establish. Prone to the best kind of death (i.e., sudden and unexpected). This is one of those plants that has the tag "well-drained soil required" and really means it.

May rebloom in late summer/early fall.
