Viburnum trilobum
American cranberrybush viburnum

Notes:

AKA V. opulus var. americanum.

Easy to transplant. Sandy soil tolerance is debated (JerseyYards.org and NCSU vs. the USDA and White Oak).

'Alfredo' grows more densely with good red fall color. 'Andrews' is grown for the fruit and is more compact and dense. 'Bailey Compact' is another dwarf (still to 6' though) with good red fall color. 'Compactum' is a similar size but with poor yellow fall color. 'Hahs' is grown for its larger fruit. 'Wentworth' has both superior eating fruit and good red fall color.
