Notes:
Two words...Self Indulgence This AMV turned out to be a bit of a roller coaster ride for me. There are times I think I'm crazy for making it and times where I'm really proud of it. I think I made the basic idea work. This is an AMV showing a more involved relationship between the characters, Kaworu and Rei. It's a relationship that is totally nonexistent in the series. I wish I could go into detail about this video, the inspiration behind it, making it and the whole story. But there is just so much surrounding it that I don't even know where to begin. I took things up a notch with this one and tried a few new tricks. I attempted some lip-synch in Movie Maker and I edited some footage in Photoshop. I'm especially happy with the beach scene and how the water still ripples despite the obvious change. |

I was very nervous about making this available for public viewing. I can still get a little uneasy about it sometimes. Unlike my previous video, which was made to be fun, this one was actually made to be an emotional outlet for me. I guess if I had to compare the feeling to something, it would be like letting someone read my diary. No idea I've ever had before or after I completed this AMV has carried the same amount as emotional weight on my part. Use your
imagination as you watch. That's pretty much all you can do.
